Timbuctu is a lakefront community located within the southwest quadrant of beautiful Lake Gaston. Situated on the Virginia-North Carolina line, we have a mix of full-time residents, weekenders, rental properties, as well as a few vacant lots.

This is a community website designed to provide property owners with neighborhood information and POA happenings.  Upon registration, property owners agree not to share internal information from this website with non-property owners.

Property Owners, if selling your property:  Prior to closing, you (or your realtor on your behalf)  are required by Virginia Law to obtain a ReSale Certificate from the Timbuctu Property Owners' Association that documents our community's governing rules, regulations and assessments and certify that you have provided this info to your buyers.
