Donations

Although the majority of the homes in Timbuctu are located in Virginia, Churchill Five Forks Volunteer Fire Department has agreed to respond to 911 calls.  As an Association, we donate $800 annually to the Fire Station because they do not receive any funding from Virginia. In addition, we encourage all Virginia property owners to make additional donations.  Donations can be mailed to:

Volunteers Needed for Fire Department

• Volunteering does not mean running into a burning house, or being in a challenging position – it can be as simple as driving a vehicle to scene, working the pump, or manning a hose.
• Full time and part time residents are encouraged to volunteer.
• All necessary equipment is furnished by the Department and there is no monetary cost for a volunteer.
• 36 hours training per year – plus attend 1 business meeting and 1 training session / month.
